Position Overview:
- Role: Drama Teacher
- Location: Across the island
- Employment Type: Part-Time / Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging drama lessons and workshops for students across various age groups.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
- Guide students in script analysis, character development, improvisation, and performance techniques.
- Prepare students for performances, showcases, and other theatrical events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and lesson plans that align with educational goals and company ethos.
- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to students to enhance their skills and confidence.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Drama Teacher or similar role, preferably working with children and teenagers.
- Strong understanding of drama education methodologies and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for inspiring and motivating young individuals through the performing arts.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the needs and abilities of diverse student groups.
- Relevant qualifications in Drama, Theatre, Performing Arts, or Education (preferred but not essential).
