Business Development Manager - Singapore
Responsibilities
- Oversee the sales and services in the Southeast Asia market and build a robust channel partner base.
- Boost and optimize sales by networking and regularly engaging with clients, builders, contractors, architects, and consultants.
- Collaborate closely with key distributors to support business development in the region.
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations for customers, addressing inquiries about products, pricing, and feature availability.
- Establish infrastructure for pre-sales support, including site surveys and audits, and assist in preparing project proposals.
- Provide management with detailed sales and business reports, along with monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- A degree in Engineering from reputable institutions such as NTU, NUS, SIT, Singapore University of Technology and Design, or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience in HVAC/BMS Controls Sales. Exceptional candidates from related fields (Mechanical, IoT, etc.) may also be considered.
- Experience living or working in different countries within the specific geographic area of the role, demonstrating the ability to connect with potential partners, consultants, and prospective clients.
- A strong eagerness to learn and adapt to changing technologies, with a demonstrable passion for the role.
- Singapore national or Permanent Resident (PR).
- High level of personal credibility with excellent networking and interpersonal skills.
- Strong presentation abilities, capable of articulating complex concepts to cross-functional audiences.
- Preferred experience in digital solutions markets, understanding customer needs, and developing value propositions.
