Leveraging on undying influence of Japanese culture outside of Japan and the current climate where there are no boundaries for entertainment & music content, as an Executive of Music Label team at Avex Asia, you are mainly responsible for supporting the team with your expertise in Japanese culture and language as well as assisting the team for their needs in any and every on-going projects.
[What you will do]
You will support Avex Asia’s Music Label across various areas of business - apply your expertise and knowledge in Japanese culture and also savviness in trends. Furthermore, you will be supporting the team for all matters by helping facilitate meetings, communications and their organisation leveraging your expertise.
You are willing to go above and beyond to understand & learn the unique landscape of Japanese entertainment scene and adapt into your day-to-day where applicable.
Core Responsibilities
• Project Coordination: Assisting the team in the preparation of ideas, assets & materials for marketing & promotional campaigns, artist driven & live event projects and communications.
• Research & Analysis: Assisting the team in the research & analysis of Japanese culture, artists and any related opportunities in Asia.
• Meeting & Communication Facilitation: Assisting the team in the facilitation of meetings & communications mostly with internal stakeholders in Japan.
[Who you are]
• Proficiency in Japanese language and extensive knowledge in Japanese music & culture are MUST.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Passion, curiosity and interest to follow the latest trends and technology in music / entertainment industry.
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills with ability to develop strong relationships at all levels in & out of the organisation.
• Excellent organisation skills and attention to details with ability to work on multiple projects.
• Strong mentality to remain with objective & learning mindset.
• Relevant experience in music / entertainment industry with an understanding of the industry, digital music ecosystem and Southeast Asian digital & traditional media landscape is a bonus.
• Experience working across Southeast Asia region with an understanding of different natures of each market is a bonus.
