Maintaining different production equipment to optimize output, overall equipment effectiveness, mean time between failure and mean time to repair.
Job scope
- Production machinery and equipment maintenance.
- Maintain and repair all different production equipment to generate the best desired output, overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR).
- Troubleshoot in accordance with the checklists, monitoring procedures , mini specification, and any engineering instructions in compliance with customers’ requirement and internal quality standards.
- Perform real-time equipment troubleshooting, repair, calibration and conduct periodic and non-periodic equipment preventive maintenance.
- Manage spare part inventory and maintain the production facility clean and safe.
- Ensure that materials are used and handled appropriately to avoid scraps.
- Perform daily 5S housekeeping and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance in conformance to operational standards to ensure smooth operation of production machines and equipment
- Respond to all machine and equipment faults promptly and assist engineer in troubleshooting/repairing work
- To update documents for machine maintenance
- Identify potential improvement initiatives and working on Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) and Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) to improve Equipment Uptime
- Developing hardware solutions to reduce Equipment Cost of Ownership
- Analyzing and addressing equipment issues using mechanical/electric skills and software applications
- Creating and optimizing equipment maintenance procedures
- Adopting IoT, RPA, Data Analytical for work efficiency improvement
- Resolving problems using a series of experimental techniques and thinking out of the box
Requirement
- 1 – 3 years of relevant work experience
- Nitec/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering/Electronics.
- Understanding and interpretation of circuit diagrams.
- Experience in mechanical and electrical Preventive/Corrective Maintenance.
- Manufacturing experience would advantage.
