IT/Software Support Executive

Job Overview:

  • My client looking for a proficient IT Executive to contribute significantly to the IT automated storage and retrieval machine projects, customer warehouse integration, and providing advanced support.
  • In this role, you will assist in project execution, deliver excellent customer support, and ensure seamless operations.
  • Your technical skills and customer-focused approach will be vital to their success.

Responsibilities:


IT Projects Implementation:

  • Aid in the software project implementation of warehouse automated storage and retrieval systems for customers, including integration with customer ERP systems, IT infrastructure, and networks.
  • Collaborate in setting up machines, configuring software, conducting UAT/SIT, and providing software user training for both customers and internal staff.
  • Support the software go-live process.
  • Thoroughly document IT projects, detailing processes, configurations, and outcomes.
  • Perform IT site visits to assess requirements, troubleshoot issues, and gather insights for improvements.

IT Service Support:

  • Deliver remote helpdesk and onsite support services for customers, addressing technical needs promptly and professionally.
  • Be available onsite on scheduled days to provide hands-on IT software support and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare detailed IT service reports for accurate tracking and analysis.

IT Tasks and Ad-hoc Duties:

  • Undertake various IT-related tasks to effectively support onsite customers.
  • Respond to IT ad-hoc duties assigned by the Supervisor, demonstrating adaptability and versatility.

Requirements:

  • Availability to travel for customer support in Singapore and Malaysia.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in software application support, particularly with systems like inventory, warehouse management, and ERP.
  • Familiarity with basic IT infrastructure, server setup, and network troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members, customers, and vendors.
  • Ability to clearly escalate technical and customer inquiries to technical teams and superiors.
