My client is a global leader in the finance industry looking to hire for a Lead Data Architect.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and improve data solutions within the organisation.
- Create data pipelines focusing on effective data extraction, transformation, loading, and distribution for reporting purposes
- Evaluate and select suitable technologies and tools for data processing and data analysis, based on research and existing solutions within the organisation's frameworks.
- Building scalable, high-performance data models.
- Work with various stakeholders and teams to gather data needs and offer technical guidance.
- Enhancing data systems for efficiency and cost savings in collaboration with the Development team.
- Maintaining data security and meeting compliance standards.
- Applying best practices in systems design.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields.
- Expertise on data engineering, database management, data warehousing.
- Possesses a robust foundation in data engineering, with a track record of building expansive data frameworks and systems on the enterprise scale.
- A successful track record of data projects that are successfully implemented and deployed.
- 6 years of Data Engineering experience.
- 1-3 years’ experience with Data Architecture or Solution Architecture.
- Familiar with data integration tools and workflow management systems.
- Experience in Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Unity Catalogue, Azure Data Fetch (ADF)
