Executive (Events), Office of SingHealth Academy (2-year Contract)

You will play a key role in supporting SingHealth’s efforts in being a leader in Academic Medicine. You will work with a team to support SingHealth as an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) to leverage on funding support provided for Singapore Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) and non-WSQ workshops. You will ensure prompt submission of claims and prompt receipt of funding from SSG. You will ensure timely payment and establish internal policies and checks to ensure good governance of budget and fund optimisation. You will also work with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the workshops comply with SSG requirements.

You are responsible for planning and managing the training programmes and events organised by SingHealth Academy for staff across SingHealth. You will work with Group Education and the Joint Office of Academic Medicine (JOAM) on the Philanthropic Fund Support for Education training and programs. You will be the main liaison with the fund requester to facilitate the Philanthropic Fund application, fund disbursement, fund utilisation and reports.

You will also be involved in planning, managing and implementation of programmes and events for SingHealth Academy and its stakeholders. You will manage the relevant operational and administrative functions to ensure that events are well executed. You will collaborate with the SingHealth Academy Comms team to drive marketing and publicity of events. You will participate in the conceptualisation and refinement of the administrative framework and key work processes, as well as identify gaps and propose new initiatives when required.You will manage the academic resources (e.g eLibrary) and monitor its budget. You will also provide support for the cluster journal editorial secretariat to ensure that the journal is published on time.


Job requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

· Excellent command of spoken and written English

· Good interpersonal and analytical skills

· Preferably with project management skills and savvy with finance matters

· Strong interpersonal skills and a team-player to work with various stakeholders.

· Driven and independent with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines
