SPDA-SSG covers structured products such as securitization and bond business, mainly by utilizing SPV functions.
The role of administration team in SSG is broad, but mainly cover:
i) operation management and control for pre/post closing of transactions
ii) regular/ ad-hoc reporting to planning/risk management departments
iii) credit administration support
iv) SPV management, liaising with marketing staff
For each transaction, it is essential to manage complicated operation, payments and administration including securities, derivatives etc as well as loan related matters.
This position is required to handle day-to-day operation, administration and control work in administration team of SPDA-SSG.
Job Responsibilities
i) Financial Performance and Accountabilities
- Handle/check transaction administration; the securities settlement, custodian arrangement and SPV management that are specific to securitization and structured credit transactions.
- Handle/check the internal control sheets or execution slips related to regular transaction administration; oversee BAU matters related to execution/ongoing transaction management
- Review transaction documentation on pre-closing, and monitor its addherence on the post-closing for securitization and structured credit transactions, by working closely with clients and transaction counterparties (e.g. legal counsel, accounting firm, trustee, custodian, securites house)
- Propose improvement plan to streamline the group's business proceddure, in order to raise its effectiveness and efficiency for business development
ii) Work Management
- Co-work with marketing and administration team members of SPDA-SSG located in Singapore and Sydney
iii) Risk and Process Management
- Regular reporting on compliance, account closing, audit or internal control required for SPDA-SSG in Singapore and Sydney. Ensure the corresponding procedures are complying with the internal rules and external regulations
iv) Performance Indicators
-Supoort the group to meet financial targets/ KPIs
-Support new/existing transactions proceed for smooth executions
-Support group's operational/administrative matters to be processed smoothly
-Closely communicate with group members (especially Admin team members) to monitor daily administration matters to be properly handled
-Communicate with custodians, legal counsels etc to resolve issues occassionally
-Handle or support compliance/addministration related internal reportings
-Support the group with compliance related external reportings
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in transaction administration
- Minimum 3 years of experience in securitization business, with the expertise in securites settlement and custodian arrangement
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SPV management
- Has appropriate network with legal counsel, accounting firm, trustee, custodian, securities clearing house
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Desirable if the candidate has postgraduate qualifications
- Ability to work in tight time frames
