Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, quality standards, and pricing.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with existing suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (project & production team) to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure on-time delivery and quality assurance.
• Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address supply chain disruptions.
• Monitor supplier order lead-time and work closely with factory to achieve optimal fabrication completion schedule.
• Ensure that accuracy of quarterly stock count and the In & Out stock transfer for projects are correctly tracked.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Diploma holders with >5 years of experience are welcome to apply.
• Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
• Good technical knowledge and understanding of engineering components (actuators, valves, junction boxes etc).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with communicating with overseas suppliers
