Job Roles
- Provide exercise prescription and rehabilitation for patients, involving in exercise testings, exercise counselling to patients with chronic disease. Also, to conduct exercise talks, workshops and events in support of our preventative programme both internally and externally.
Main Responsibilities
- To customise patients’ individualised exercise care plan
- To fulfil the role of an exercise therapist in targeted rehab programmes
- To lead and oversee research projects
- To provide exercise education and awareness through exercise talks and workshops
Qualifications
Bachelor in Science (Exercise and Sports Science or any Health Science) related disciplines
Experience
- Preferably > 4 years’ relevant experience of exercise rehabilitation in Healthcare and/or Geriatrics setting
- Supervisory skills and experience in leading small units
- Able to take on projects independently
- Prior research and event management experience is an advantage
Soft Skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Effectively bilingual; Able to speak local dialects will be an advantage
- A heart for seniors and the sick Enjoy working with elderly patients
- Self-driven and dynamic
- Critical eye for details and vibrant
Note
- Reporting Venue: NKF HQ
- Incumbent is expected to travel Dialysis Centres in the East
- Vacancy is available Oct 2024 onwards
