Working for an established Financial services organization, you will be leading production support team of Asia Pacific technology to support more than 8 mission critical applications.
The role of the role is to ensure the provision of high availability for a range of applications to ensure they meet defined Service Level Agreements
· Providing day to day application support to payment and other mission critical applications
· Lead and guide the L2 support team
· Carrying out troubleshooting and problem resolution
· Assist in review of change and releases processes
· Reviewing current processes and recurring problems and to find permanent resolution
- Carrying out DR exercise
Requirements
- Proven & extensive experience in IT application support in financial sector
- Experience in ITIL processes, incident and problem management
- Min 8 years in managing production support in banking environment with min 3 years in leading a team
- Experience working in relevant technical environments, such as customer facing applications.
- Proven analytical skills & ability to deal with complex & technical data.
- Experience working with Unix, Tomcat, Apache, SQL (Oracle or SQL Server)
- Experience in shell script and automation and batch job management
- Experience working with monitoring tools
