- Candidates must have relevant transactional or credit/ portfolio management experience in project finance and/or leveraged finance
Responsibilities would include:
- Support the Head in the growth and development of the Collateral & Portfolio Team
- Oversee ongoing servicing of all loans and bonds assets under management eg. project / asset backed, corporate and mezzanine financings within the renewable energy, infrastructure and maritime sectors
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth transition of assets originated and ongoing monitoring of existing AUMs
- Review and approve waivers and amendments as permitted under respective collateral management mandates
- Proactively identify and report potential adverse issues on a timely basis
- Manage client requests as agreed in service agreements, and/or workflow / processes, in an accurate and timely manner
- Take the lead in any restructuring and work-outs, in partnership with internal teams
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the team
Profile of ideal candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Minimum of 12-15 years in banking, ideally with transactional or portfolio management experiences in project finance and/or leveraged finance
- Familiarity and/or experience in Asia Pacific infrastructure project financing. Transaction experience and market knowledge beyond APAC region would be a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organised, motivated, and strong prioritisation capabilities with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to interact confidently with senior management and clients
