As our new Senior FF&E Designer, you will be engaged in luxury hospitality projects, encompassing both urban and resort hotels. You will collaborate within a design team to interpret client briefs, working closely with the Interior Design team to develop concepts, create sample boards, and prepare presentations for clients. You will also be responsible for sourcing appropriate materials and fabrics for interior finishes, artwork, furniture, and lighting.
Your Responsibilities
As the Senior FF&E Designer, your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing, scheduling, and selecting FF&E and artwork items for projects, working alongside Design Leads and Senior Interior Designers throughout every design stage.
- Developing and preparing all material finishes, ironmongery, and sanitary ware specifications in collaboration with the Project Designer.
- Preparing and coordinating all FF&E documentation required for tender issues, and creating and maintaining FF&E budget estimates versus actuals as needed.
- Reviewing samples, strike-offs, shop drawings, and materials for compliance with specifications and design intent.
- Participating in project meetings and client presentations as necessary, including attending client work-sessions and design reviews.
- Traveling internationally for project presentations, coordination meetings, and site visits as required.
