Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Manager for project management office who will part of the business digital transformation journey for the financial institution.
You will provide guidance on planning, scheduling, procurement, and all the execution and tracking related activities within the organization.
Mandatory Skill-set:
- Degree in Business Computing, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business;
- Has 5 years of experience as project management professional within technology related projects;
- Good understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices;
- Sound knowledge in financial management to ensure project financials are up to date and correctly captured in a timely manner;
- Analytical, articulate and able to communicate comfortably with various stakeholders such as project sponsors, project managers, platform leads, business units;
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Jira and Excel, with expertise in visual layout, presentation design;
- Skilled at problem solving, planning and organizing;
- Excellent written, presentation and communication skills.
Desired Skill-set:
- Experience in the financial services or asset management;
- PMP certified.
Responsibilities:
- Part of the Project Management Office (PMO) team to provide guidance on planning, scheduling, procurement, and all the execution and tracking related activities related to asset management projects within the organization;
- Support the department team leaders in the project management process updates and communicating to stakeholders;
- Plan and support project activities, assessments, reviews and participate in status meeting;
- Actively provide project management support by collaborating with multiple teams (project sponsors, project managers, data scientist, platform leads, business units) in ensuring that the project is completed on time;
- Create executive-level presentations to support strategic programs;
- Implement risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks;
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery;
- Ensure effective communication and transparency of project goals, progress, and outcomes to all stakeholders and facilitating workshops.
