Job Responsibilities:
- · Implement QA plan, review, and revision for company level.
- · Report on quality related matters to the QA/QC Manager and/or immediate superior, including preparation of monthly summary To create, prepare and implement the QA/QC plan and any associated and relevant directives and instructions needed to support To develop and manage the quality control and quality assurance procedures and ensure compliance.
- · To prepare Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and Inspection Reports Maintain the ISO and related certifications for company level.
- · To perform needed tests on site to ensure works are done according to the contract specifications. Preparation of document submissions for client approval.
- · Attend meetings and liaise with the client to ensure that quality requirements are being followed at all times.
- · Maintain document record master list pertaining to equipment and monitor on the calibration status. Coordinate and make arrangements for equipment calibration when due.
- · Compile and receive relevant material certificates and other required certificates and test report from vendors/suppliers. Coordinate with relevant testing laboratories for testing and witnessing.
- · Compile and maintain quality records e.g. Request for Inspection (RFI) and verify as necessary. Coordinate on-site quality assurance and control activities.
- · To conduct independent Quality Assurance check on and off site.
- · Report non-conformities to the QA/QC Manager and/or Project Manager, perform analysis, identify root cause and propose corrective actions.
- · Maintain and control QA/QC practices on daily basis with regular checks and inspections ensuring correct operation and implementation of procedures.
- · Advise and assist the project team members on QA/QC matters. Assist in the development of internal QA/QC checklists.
- · Implement and enforce Quality Control Plan.
- · Verification and checks on raw/incoming materials and/or FG. Documents for non-conforming works and corrective action.
- · Identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from workplace or work processes, minimize environmental impact associated with the manufacturing / assembly activities.
- · Perform other duties as and when assigned/instructed by immediate superior or higher management.
Job Requirements:
- · Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical or Marine Engineering Discipline Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Marine, Oil & Gas Industry
- · Good understanding of Marine/Offshore industry practices and standards.
- · Know-how in one or more of these areas GD&T, NDT, welding, steel fabrication, material casting, and machining technology will be preferred.
- · Familiar with ISO 9001 requirements & different marine classification societies' standards and requirements will be an added good knowledge of QMS and ability to implement, conduct checks and audit and upkeeping of documents etc.
