RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teacher and coordinator, conducting lessons and managing a team of teachers
Designing and implementing learning or teaching situations based on French programs and
standards
Convey subject knowledge
Designing and implementing methods of assessment of students' learning, in liaison with
other teachers or professional partners
Ensuring that students acquire skills including capability and know-how, among others
Contributing to the school's operation and teamwork
Adapting his/her teaching to the diversity of students by providing each of them with the
necessary support, and assess their achievements
Using educational softwares to support learning
Exercising specific functions such as coordination and mentoring, among others
Supporting/Training teachers in class management and pedagogy
Instilling and driving pedagogical innovations among the Primary teaching staff
SKILLS, ABILITY AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
French Ministry of Education degree holder
Deep understanding of the subject and the curriculum
Experience in teaching in Primary school, as well as with teacher training
Knowledge of the French curriculum
Orgnisational and interpersonal skills
Responsiveness and availability
Adaptability and benevolence
Very good writing and speaking skills
Strong teamwork skills and committed to making projects successful
Good knowledge of educational softwares
Ability to adapt to French-speaking and non French-speaking students and colleagues
Ability to provide instructions suited to a wide variety of students and colleagues
Ability to work in a transversal and multidisciplinary manner
Excellent knowledge of French national curriculum
Expertise in staff training
