Responsibilities:
- Leading a team covering technical and procurement aspects.
- Ensuring fleet compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.
- Maintaining ships in compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Promptly resolving defects to prevent downtime.
- Managing vessel downtime effectively to expedite operational status.
- Monitoring and improving fleet performance and operational efficiency.
- Organizing ship schedules and conducting ship visits for effective management.
- Evaluating Chief Engineers and participating in shipboard meetings.
- Closing out audited non-conformances and observations.
- Planning and attending ship periodic and occasional docking.
- Assisting in incident investigation and report completion.
- Providing feedback during company schedule meetings.
- Participating in audits and inspections.
- Supervising and mentoring team members.
- Contributing to special shipping projects.
- Representing the technical department in operational discussions.
- Supporting with other ad hoc
Requirements:
- Min Diploma in Marine Engineering.
- At least 4 years of relevant working experience.
- Previous experience in Oil Tanker Seagoing Engineer or Oil Tanker shore.
- Strong knowledge with MS Office Applications.
