Responsibilities:
- Identify process inputs which influence product quality
- Establish measurement systems to dynamically monitor key process inputs
- Develop Response Plans to Out of Control (OOC) and Out of Specification (OOS) process inputs
- Document Response Plans in Visual Work Standards and provide training to manufacturing personnel
- Conduct FMEA analysis to identify weaknesses in existing Quality Management System
- Implement countermeasures to failure modes resulting in high Risk Priority Number (RPN) and validate countermeasures for long term effectiveness
- Ensure that all process changes are vetted through the Management of Change (MOC) process including customer acceptance of the proposed change
- Lead the qualification of new raw material suppliers, new manufacturing processes and/or process modifications through to customer acceptance
- Drive corrective actions identified in audit findings through to completion
- Prevent customer complaints through standardized work practices which maintain process capability index for key process variables above 1.33.
- Support internal & supplier audits to ensure conformance with ISO9001:2015 standard and Best Manufacturing Practices
- Support customer audits of manufacturing locations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering or relevant technical discipline
- 3 years of manufacturing experience as a Quality Professional in the semiconductor industry or as a supplier to the semiconductor industry would be an advantage
- Working knowledge of Root Cause Analysis experience using 8D problem solving methodology
- Basic knowledge in statistical software programs (eg Minitab, JMP, Statistical or equivalent)
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally 5% of the time
- Ability to work flexible work hours to support manufacturing operations
- Logical thinking and process approach
