Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Data Consultant to join our team. As a Data Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in leading data-centric projects, providing strategic guidance, and implementing innovative solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, analytics, and consulting, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end data projects, from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business objectives, data challenges, and opportunities for leveraging data-driven insights.
- Design and architect scalable data solutions, including data warehouses, data lakes, ETL processes, and BI/reporting systems.
- Provide expert advice on data strategy, governance, data quality management, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement advanced analytics solutions, including predictive modelling, machine learning, and AI-driven analytics.
- Lead workshops, training sessions, and presentations to educate clients and internal teams on data management best practices and technologies.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the growth and development of the data consulting practice within the firm.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data management and analytics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role within a data-focused consulting environment, preferably within a Systems Integration firm.
- Proven experience leading and delivering complex data projects, including data warehousing, BI/reporting, and analytics.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar platforms.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, Python).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications in data management, analytics, or related fields (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional, AWS Certified Big Data Specialty) are advantageous.
