Company Overview: We are a commodity trading company based in Singapore, Hong Kong and mainland China specializing in iron ore, coal and so on. We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in accounting, tax policies, and financial management across multiple regions, with a strong background in the commodities trading sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the company's financial operations, including accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability.
- Manage relationships with banks in China, Hong Kong, and Singapore to ensure smooth coordination and resolution of settlement issues.
- Lead the annual bank line of credit review process, handle line of credit increases, and address various issues raised during company audits.
- Utilize extensive information resources and network connections in the iron ore and bulk commodities markets to inform strategic decisions.
Key Requirements:
- Regional Expertise: Familiarity with the accounting standards and tax policies of China, Hong Kong, and Singapore, preferably with work experience in these three regions.
- Commodity Trading Experience: Over five years of extensive work experience in trading bulk commodities such as iron ore, coal and so on.
- Paper trading Expertise: Over five years of experience in trading bulk commodity derivatives in different paper commodity markets.
- Market Insight: Keen insight, foresight, and responsive measures for fluctuations in the foreign exchange and bulk commodities markets, such as iron ore.
- Banking Collaboration: Preferably experienced in collaborating with banks in the three regions, with familiar resources to promptly communicate and coordinate settlement issues.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to handle annual bank line of credit reviews, bank line of credit increases, and various issues raised during company audits.
- Network Connections: Extensive information resources and network connections in iron ore and other bulk commodities.
