Title: Sales Account Manager(Engineered Polymers)

About the company:
Our client is a leading speciality chemical company seeking for an Sales Account Manager, Engineered Polymers to drive the growth and development of the assgined business portfolio within SEA/ANZ, build strong relationships and understand the unmet needs of their customers as well as aligning these with the solutions and capabilities that they can provide as a company.
Responsibilities:
- You will be accountable for the short term and long-term development and growth of the Thermoplastic Polyurethane business portfolio within SEA/ANZ.
- You will autonomously maintain and enhance the relationship with our customers. Develop and maintain close working relationships with multiple contacts within the customers’ organization.
- You will formulate and implement near and long-term strategies to achieve aggressive revenue and profitability targets. Support and developing personal care concepts incorporating company products together with customers R&D and Marketing teams.
- You manage the preparation, organization, presentation and follow up of seminars, training, exhibitions etc.
- On-going market intelligence to ensure relevant new concepts or products are developed and stay current on competitors’ activities, capabilities and technologies.
- You work in partnership with Technical Service Engineer to service key accounts and to prospect new accounts. You conduct technical presentation to the customers and articulating their unmet technical needs internally to develop a solution.
- You also develop and maintain a healthy and strong pipeline of opportunities via the CRM system to fuel growth.
Requirements:
- Ideally, you have at least 5 to 8 years of sales experience in the polyester, polyether, scilicone elastomer , thermoplastic elastomer or specialty polymer compounds industry.
- Formal training or experience in cosmetic science will be added advantage.
- You possess a Bachelor’s Degree, Chemistry or related discipline.
- You demonstrate ability to work across various cultures, a go get attitude, willingness to learn new skills, and be open to adapt to an ever-changing market.
- Fluent communication skills in English and any other language is an asset.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time with a highly flexible schedule.
