Job Description:
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance on DCS, SCACA, PLCs, robotic palletizers, label applicators, and associated equipment.
- Conduct daily health checks and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues with the aforementioned equipment.
- Collaborate with instrument and electrical specialists, and engineers to diagnose and resolve complex automation system problems.
- Conduct routine inspections and implement preventative maintenance procedures as per established protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements.
- Support the Automation Engineer with tasks related to ABB DCS, Schneider SCADA, and Siemens SCADA systems, including daily health checks, backup, and other basic maintenance tasks as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while working within the plant environment.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum diploma or certificate in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or relevant technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Working experience in an industrial automation environment (preferred).
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing ABB robots, and inline label applicators (a plus).
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
- Proficiency in using basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with a team of specialists and engineers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
