We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Specialist to join our pursuit and growth in developing towards communities and businesses towards sustainability. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients, and closing sales to achieve revenue targets. You will work closely with the team to drive growth and expand our market presence where needed.
This commission-based position offers a competitive commission structure based on successful sales performance. You will be supported with a lead generation personnel, and project manager.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify leads through cold-calling, networking, and other lead generation activities with a lead generation specialist to support.
- Research and understand client needs and requirements to effectively pitch products or services and build network representing the company brands.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
- Identify and get supported from the team who will create compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients for you
- Negotiate terms of agreements and close sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with the team to develop strategies for expanding the customer base.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth and increase profit margins.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline, and achievements.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in sales, business development, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
