Responsibilities
- Course delivery
- Teach according to the curriculum outline
- Monitor class progression according to objectives
- Monitor student academic performance against outcomes
- Undertake a fair and equitable assessment of students
- Submit students' academic progress reports to the Academic Director
- Maintain a positive learning environment appropriate to Inspiration’s ethos
- Maintain at least 90% of student attendance in each class
- Produce supplementary teaching resources, when required
- Contribute to the curriculum development and general administration needs of the program as required
- Willing to share with and guide students based on real-life experiences and knowledge
- Caring for students' well-being and learning progression

- Learning activities all relate to authentic design project practices
- Teachers take on the role of Studio Manager
- Students take on the role of trainee designer in the studio
Requirements
- Commitment to Inspiration’s vision, mission, and strategic goals in the delivery of our programs
- Demonstrated content knowledge of the program and monitoring strategies, which enable students to achieve their full potential
- Ability to utilize a range of teaching and learning strategies to maintain student attendance and monitor student progress
- Demonstrated organizational skills and commitment to deliver the program, undertake student assessment, and submit progress reports on time and according to requirements
- Ability to teach students on project management with the relevance to Interior Design
- Knowledge of various design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Rendering software) will be an added advantage
