Requirements
- Diploma in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Bilingual in English & Mandarin is essential to communicate with supplier.
- 3 years relevant working experience in related functions in manufacturing industry.
- Experience in supplier qualification, incoming inspection, source inspection, equipment calibration and ISO9001 documentation.
- Familiar with respective supplier processes.
-Mech examples: metal machining/ welding, plastic machining/welding, surface treatment, metal stamping, casting, molding, …etc.
- Elect examples: wire crimping, cable assembly, continuity testing, PCBA …etc.
- 4. Familiar with APQP / PPAP / QCP / SPC / FMEA / 8D / 5S / GD&T / GR&R / DOE / IPC610 / Weld Joints & Symbols, will be an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for implementing continuous quality improvement programs with the suppliers as well as reviewing and updating incoming inspection procedures, practices, and part quality plans to ensure that they are implemented effectively.
- Perform supplier performance audit and monitor supplier performance through incoming inspection performance and monthly supplier review meeting.
- Review drawings & customer specification with suppliers on measurement method and reports.
- Train and monitor IQA inspectors’ method & criteria.
- Conduct source inspection when required.
- Conduct MRB to review non-conformance parts disposition.
- Conduct purge control when there is a Quality Alert raise during in-process.
- Monitor and arrange measurement tools/equipment/fixture for calibration.
- Work with suppliers to identify root causes and resolve quality issues.
- Raise VCAR to supplier when supplier failed two consecutive lots on the same defect category.
- Raise vendor improvement plan & review for top five valued suppliers and top five worst suppliers.
- Converge to BDG on customer consign part, if out of specification, the instruction how to dispose the non-conformance part.
- Manage the customer specific requirements and offer technical support to suppliers.
- Responsible for ensuring that the products produced meet quality standards required to minimize quality costs and maximize customer satisfaction whilst ensuring that procedures and processes are adhered to.
- Analyze supplier’s non-conformance data/trend to drive supplier for quality strategic improvement plan.
- Periodically quality meeting with suppliers to ensure quality issues are addressed and CAPA is implemented, effective and closed.
- Work reviewed at project milestones and/or on completion by Senior Management.
- Raise ICAR & VCAR to manufacturing and supplier on quality issue.
- Report abnormality of customer part to CQE & BDG.
- Liaise with suppliers on quality related matters.
- Perform suppliers audit and review.
- Any other duties assigned by his/her superior / Manager.
