Supporting the Senior Manager, Volunteer Programme, the successful candidate will assist in managing volunteer resource to meet the organization's needs. S/He will support in recruiting, training, developing, engaging, motivating and retaining volunteers. S/He will also co-ordinate matters pertaining to volunteers’ activities to ensure sustainability of programme (eg: transport arrangement, ticket arrangements, stock check and procurement of resources). S/He will select and activate volunteers to meet needs from care teams and admin teams. In carrying out his/her duties, the successful candidate will ensure that Dover Park Hospice’s policies are adhered to at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum a recognized Diploma from polytechnic.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Attentive to details.
- Required to work on some weekends and weekday evenings.
- Adaptable in responding to environmental factors (e.g.: during a pandemic).
