- Conduct regular actuarial valuations of life insurance products.
- Prepare detailed actuarial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Utilize actuarial projection software for accurate forecasting.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Monitor and report on key financial and actuarial metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and pricing.
- Communicate complex actuarial concepts to non-actuarial stakeholders effectively.
- Prepare and present reports and findings to senior management.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve actuarial processes and methodologies.
- Implement best practices in actuarial modeling and reporting.
Skills and experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- 5-7 years of actuarial experience in the life insurance industry.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Able to work independently, self-motivated, and outcome-oriented.
- Meticulous with a keen eye for detail.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
