Freight Sales Manager

Responsibility

  • Develop robust customer freight pipelines and meet assigned sales targets for the company.
  • Identify business opportunities, enhance profitability, and drive growth through the sale of integrated supply chain solutions, focusing on international freight services (sea & air freight, customs clearance, and cross-border trucking).
  • Increase the company's visibility within the business community, especially among potential clients, by collaborating with the management team to identify strategic business opportunities in freight services.
  • Stay ahead of market trends by creating innovative solutions that anticipate and surpass customer expectations.
  • Acquire new business for the company while managing existing accounts to increase the company's share of these customers' business.
  • Manage customer relationships to improve satisfaction, account profitability, and customer retention.
  • Enhance overall account performance through effective monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) with customers.
  • Build strategic relationships with client stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with international counterparts for leads and opportunities.
  • Maximize synergy and overall profitability when developing strategies and proposals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Superior as needed.

Requirement

  • Diploma/Degree or higher in Business Management, Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or related fields preferred.
  • >5 years of relevant experience in the Supply Chain or Freight Forwarding industry.
  • Experience in business development and account management in Integrated Supply Chain Solutions, with expertise in freight services.
  • Outgoing, articulate, customer-oriented, and highly self-motivated to excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers at senior management levels.
  • Excellent negotiation and value-based selling skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite.
