Job Description:
- Gather and correlate engineering and scientific data using established and well-defined procedures
- Work on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients, regulators, and project stakeholders
- Perform work in accordance with budget and schedule with minimal to moderate supervision
- Utilize scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope
- Prepare technical work plans and reports
- Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, compare findings to relevant local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance
- Perform unsupervised field tasks
- Review analytical data for general indicators of quality for routine analyses based on well-defined guidelines
- Coordinate with task and project managers, work with on-site subcontractors and field staff, support sampling, data collection, and field documentation.
Requirements:
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in the field of environmental engineering especially in soil and groundwater.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable meeting with clients, colleagues, and sub-contractors
- Ability to write and to convey complex thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise manner
- Ability to learn through on-the-job experience
- Strong technical report writing skills and the ability to develop design specifications
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related discipline
