Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Vision:
- Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy in alignment with the company’s business goals.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for innovation.
- Drive market research studies to explore new technology and oversee the development of business proposals for new opportunities.
Product Development:
- Manage the entire product line life cycle, from strategic planning to tactical activities.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to deliver high-quality digital products.
- Define and prioritize product features and requirements based on customer feedback, business goals, and technical feasibility.
- Create detailed product roadmaps, ensuring timely and effective delivery of product milestones.
User Experience and Design:
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- Conduct user testing and gather feedback to continuously improve product design and functionality.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Utilize analytics tools to monitor product performance, user engagement, and customer satisfaction.
- Evaluate product functionalities and performance and propose enhancements to products based on market feedback.
- Analyze data to identify trends, measure product success, and inform future product decisions.
Stakeholder Management:
- Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and support product launches.
- Research and analyze potential partner relationships for the product and generate ideas to grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth.
Project Management:
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Specific Requirements:
Industry Knowledge:
- Experience in digital product management within Healthcare/Pharmaceutical Industry/Commercial Insurance Industry etc.
- Understanding of industry-specific challenges and opportunities, and the ability to develop products that address these needs.
- In-depth knowledge of the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and commercial insurance sectors in Asia, especially China.
- Ability to design solutions tailored to the industry's stage and customer needs, ensuring commercial viability and value.
Technical Proficiency:
- Familiarity with modern software development practices and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
- Experience working with development teams to build scalable and robust digital solutions.
- Experience in working with large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, and understanding their applications and limitations.
Customer-Centric Approach:
- Strong focus on understanding and meeting customer needs.
- Ability to translate customer feedback into actionable product requirements.
Analytical Skills:
- Proficient in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.) to track and analyze product performance.
- Experience in A/B testing, user segmentation, and behavioral analysis.
Communication and Leadership:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English. Ability to do in Mandarin will be advantageous to communicate with internal stakeholders based overseas.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
Team Management:
- Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Experience in setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback, and supporting the professional development of team members.
Qualifications:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis, Science (Computer Studies), or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on digital products.
- Demonstrated success in launching and managing digital products that achieve business goals.
