The Principal EHS Consultant shall provide leadership, development and management of Environmental Impact, Management and Monitoring-related projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop business, prepare proposals, and scope for environmental services
- Development, management and delivery of projects that involve baseline data collection, analysis and reporting, including air, noise, and biodiversity, among others, including preparation of environmental impact assessment report, and environmental management and monitoring plan, as required
- Carry out EHS due diligence and compliance audits, and provide support and management of other environmental-related services
- Provide support to internal stakeholders, regional and global teams, as required
- Client relationship management
- Business development, marketing and client relationship management
- Preparation and review of high-quality deliverables including proposals, reports and presentations
- Facilitate contract management of suppliers and sub-contractors
- Project management including tracking of project progress and profitability
- Mentoring junior staff
- Preparation of site-specific HSSE plans to manage risks to clients, employees and the public
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science / Engineering, Chemistry / Chemical Engineering or related fields with at least 10 years of relevant professional experience
- Proven technical expertise in the management and delivery of environmental consultancy services
- Experience in managing teams and project delivery
- Experience in a variety of sectors including construction, manufacturing, power and energy in Singapore and the region
- Strong written, verbal communication and data presentation skills
- Strong commitment to safety, including following established Health and Safety protocols
- Skills include:Analytical and systematic approach to problem-solving.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to multi-task, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision
Keen attention to detail
Ability to engage with clients directly
Strong organisational skills and proactive mindset - The following are desired:
- Sustainability and environmental, social and governance (ESG) and green building experience
- Professional certification in environmental services
