JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a full-time on-site role as a Clinic Assistant. The role involves daily tasks such as communication with patients, receptionist duties, customer service, knowledge of medical terminology and patient care.
- Registration of patients including but not limited to checking of Insurance eligibility, name, NRIC, contact no, address, drug allergies, patient’s declaration and temperature.
- Assisting doctors to chaperone, during procedures and ensuring equipment are sterile/ready for use.
- Preparation, replenishment, checking and dispensing of medications.
- Replenishment of medications and consumables as required.
- Collection of payment including but not limited to submission of Insurance claims.
- Attending to phone calls, scheduling, appointment, reminders, and medication follow-up.
- Handling administration and documentation of referrals, lab tests, and radiology services from various vendors.
- Checking orders against invoices for all deliveries.
- Other duties assigned by Group Clinic Manager from time to time.
- Service oriented with excellent telecommunication and interpersonal skills.
- Initiative, self-motivated, Teamwork and result oriented.
- Able to work both independently as well as a good team player.
- Need to be adequately IT savvy.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma
- Preferably able to speak Mandarin to effectively communicate with a significant number of our Mandarin-speaking patients.
