Haus Atelier is an Award winning local and International Interior Design and Build firm. We are seeking a motivated Interior Designer to join our team in Singapore.
The successful person will work exclusively on residential projects.
Education
- You must have a BSc in Interior Design, Bachelor of Architecture or similar, with four years’ post-graduate experience.
Role
- Based in Singapore.
You are expected to:
- Client face and project manage the respective project you are assigned to.
- Work with our inhouse design team to coordinate the design.
- Use your design flair and abilities to resolve site issues.
- Project manage and to be a site savvy designer. This role calls for a hands-on approach to design and not one that is desk bound.
- Coordinate and liase with suppliers, subcontractors and respective stakeholders.
Skills
- Self-motivated who can work efficiently and in an organised manner
- Create and develop conceptual designs including the ability to use color and texture
- Understanding of FF&E selection (materials, finishes, detailing and scheduling)
- Receptive to constructive feedback and critique of your work
- Visualise concepts and confidently explain them to others
- Exceptional attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Assist the Creative Director with initial concept presentations and run your own meetings. Clients will be assigned.
- Develop detailed designs
- Arrange samples/new collections
- Organise supplier meetings, research new products and maintain the sample library
- Research materials and finishes and relevant detailing
- Produce schematic design presentations through imagery, materials, FF&E and color elevations
- Produce CAD drawings
- Involved in multiple projects at one time
It is strongly advised you are experienced with the following programs:
- Sketchup
- Photoshop
- AutoCAD
Salary - Minimum $4200 (depending on Experience)
We are looking for an experienced motivated hand, and the salary is in accordance to what you have to offer.
