Social Media Executive

Introduction

We’re looking for a skilled and creative social media executive to join our team at The DFRNT Agency.

As a social media executive, you will work collaboratively with our management team and creatives. You will manage clients’ social media accounts, develop and execute content calendar, provide copywriting, craft social media strategies and planning for creative production. On top of that you will need to take care of our own social media presence as well.

Objectives of this role

  • Work closely with internal and external teams to establish and maintain an assertive brand outreach on social platforms.
  • Manage client’s expectations, and communicate regularly with them.
  • Develop and execute social media strategies to meet brand objectives.
  • Create, manage and schedule posting on social media channels.
  • Create monthly reports for the social media accounts.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all client concerns and inquiries.

    Your tasks
  • Monitor the organisation's social media accounts and ensure brand consistency in all social media messages, produce reports, etc.
  • Create relevant and versatile content to engage target audiences, promote our brand and drive engagement.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders and resources.
  • Report and analyse the performance of social media campaigns and provide insights on performance metrics.
  • Manage outreach with third-party influencers and plan live events, webinars or conferences.
  • Lead and instruct cross-functional teams (content, graphics, marketing) in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Experience of at least three (2) years in digital marketing, social media management, content writing and content production
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with problem-solving acumen.
  • Expertise in social media platforms (like Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, X and LinkedIn).
  • Experience in WeChat and XiaoHongShu is a plus!
  • Familiarity with customer service and customer relations.
  • Strong attention to detail with time-management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with ease.

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in communications, public relations, marketing or a related field.
  • Fluent in software such as Canva and Capcut.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools (like Google Analytics and Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM and other digital marketing techniques.
  • Knowledge of social media management tools (like Later and Hootsuite).
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gdrive, doc, slides, and sheets).
