Working Hours
5-days week.
They may be rostered to work on weekend.
Mon – Fri : 8.45am to 6.00pm
Sat & Sun: 8.00am to 5.00pm.
Summary
The job involves troubleshooting and maintaining plant equipment, overseeing daily operations, ensuring proper housekeeping, and keeping accurate records. The individual must be available for emergency call-backs, supervise contractors or operators, perform additional duties as assigned, and consistently follow safety measures.
Responsibilities
· Trouble-shoot and rectify problems on plant equipment (production & facility).
· Sustain & proper maintenance of all machineries and equipment as per check list.
· Monitor and facilitate day to day operations of plant equipment.
· Maintain proper house-keeping practices.
· Keep proper record of work carried-out and spare parts used.
· Able to respond to emergency call back during non-working hours.
· To lead and guide contractors or operators attached under your supervision.
· Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
· Follow and practice good safety measures always.
Requirements
· Possess at least Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
· At least 8 years working experience in maintenance &/or engineering role in Chemical process plant.
· Must have working knowledge on electrical &/or instrumentation and PLC control systems.
· Able to interpret schematic, electrical and P&ID diagrams.
· Advantageous to have experience in dealing with rotating equipment (motors, pumps, fan & blowers), piping system with valves, pressure vessels, steam lines, sensors and metering devices.
· Team player and ability to work under pressure
