Responsibilities:
- Managed and maintained internal systems and developed servers in banking environment
- Collaborating with the team leader to identify operational issues and proactively engage in improvement activities.
- Prepared operational documentation.
- Executed general operational tasks, including access log reporting and patching.
- Coordinated with vendors and managed contracts (software license renewals, hardware maintenance).
- Addressed user inquiries and facilitated communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Experience in managing multiple servers, primarily Windows servers
- Proficient in on-premises server management, including VMware
- Familiarity with managing cloud servers will be advantageous
- Prompt escalation on operational issues
- Knowledge of ITIL concepts and possess hands on experience in systems operations and maintenance.
- Willingness to be on standby for implementing system workarounds and investigating root cause resolutions as needed.
- Ability to independently prepare system design and procedure manuals
