My client, an IT service management company is looking to hire a System Management Specialist
This role is responsible for the operation and maintenance of internal systems and developed servers for a banking customer. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Windows server management, ITIL principles
Role will be based at Changi Business Park (East)
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain internal systems and developed servers for a banking customer.
- Prepare operational documentation, including access log reports and patching procedures.
- Perform general operations tasks such as access log reporting and patching.
- Coordinate with vendors and manage contracts (software licenses, hardware maintenance
- Handle user inquiries and maintain good communication with team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Must Have:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in IT operations and maintenance, primarily managing Windows servers.
- Familiarity with ITIL concepts.
- General knowledge of on-premise server management, including VMware.
- Ability to independently develop system design and procedure manuals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to escalate issues promptly and collaborate with the team leader to identify and address operational problems.
- Nice to Have:Experience working with Japanese companies or projects.
- General knowledge of managing cloud servers.
