We are current looking for Centre Director, Family Services for our social service agency. The Centre Director is responsible for the overall management, leadership, and strategic direction of the family services center. It includes overseeing program development and implementation, staff supervision, community engagement, and ensuring the highest quality of service delivery to families.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management
- Provide visionary leadership and direction to the Family Services Centre.
- Set strategic directions for the centre/ service in accordance to the mission and vision.
- Oversee and streamline processes to achieve efficiency and effectiveness of the centre
Program Development and Oversight
- Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of family service programs.
- Ensure programs are evidence-based and meet the diverse needs of the community.
- Continuously assess and improve program effectiveness.
- Develop marketing and branding plans for organisation.
Staff Supervision and Development
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate Family Services staff.
- Promote professional growth and development opportunities for team members.
- Ensure a supportive and inclusive work environment.
Community and Stakeholder Engagement
- Network with government bodies and other stakeholders towards excellence in service provision and community development.
- Represent the Family Services Centre at community events, meetings, and conferences.
- Advocate for family support initiatives and policies.
Financial Management
- Develop and manage the Family Services Centre budget.
- Ensure financial sustainability through effective budget management and fundraising.
- Pursue funding opportunities, including grants and donations.
Compliance and Quality Assurance
- Ensure all programs comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Implement quality assurance processes to monitor and enhance service delivery.
- Manage resources prudently within approved budget guidelines set by management.
- Report to the Programme and Service Committee, Board of Directors and MSF periodically on the progress of the programmes/ projects.
Qualifications:
- A Degree in Social Work or related discipline & Diploma in Management.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory and service planning capacity.
- Possess strong leadership, analytical, problem solving and planning skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage various stakeholders.

Sun Ray Scheme
Sun Ray is a centralised scheme administered by NCSS to develop individuals who have strong leadership qualities to lead professional practices and agencies in the social service sector.
To enable a holistic development. there will be structured rotation across social service agencies in different sub-sectors to provide individuals with cross-organisational exposure and support. The exposure will enable those on the Sun Ray to develop broader sector perspectives and gain deep sector knowledge to help the social service agencies that they are deployed to build capabilities and capacity.
