Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Trainer and Learning Development Specialist to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and delivering training programs for both internal employees and external clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in courseware development and workplace learning consultancy, with a passion for fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Delivery:
- Conduct engaging and effective training sessions for external clients.
- Utilize various training methodologies and tools to accommodate different learning styles and preferences.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements based on feedback.
Courseware Development:
- Design and develop high-quality training materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, and multimedia resources.
- Ensure course content is relevant, up-to-date, and aligned with industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and insights for course development.
Workplace Learning Consultancy:
- Assess client needs and provide tailored learning and development solutions to enhance organizational performance.
- Conduct training needs analysis and recommend appropriate training interventions.
- Offer guidance and support on workplace learning initiatives and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in training, courseware development, or learning and development.
- Proven track record of delivering successful training programs and developing effective courseware.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in e-learning platforms, instructional design software, and multimedia tools.
- Professional certification in training, learning and development, or instructional design (e.g., ACTA, ACLP, DACE or DDDLP).
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design models.
