The Project Operations Executive with digital networking skills will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of Internet-of-Things (IoT) projects. This role requires a blend of project management expertise, operational acumen, IoT deployment and advanced digital networking knowledge to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, time, and budget.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management:
- Lead and manage IoT projects from initiation to closure.
- Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to project timelines and objectives.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure efficient and effective project operations, optimizing processes and workflows.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including tech, operations, finance, and customer success.
- Liaising with device partners and contractors for deployments
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.
Digital Networking:
- Work with partners to design, implement, and maintain IoT network infrastructure to support project requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IoT network issues with partners to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Support the tech team in onboarding and integrating with IoT devices and systems.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure clear communication and alignment of project goals and expectations.
- Manage client and partner relationships, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Diploma in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in project management and digital networking.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and architecture, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. (understanding of LORAWAN is a bonus)
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (i.e. JIRA, Clickup)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
