COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Located on Jurong Island, the petrochemical hub of Singapore, SRC operates a refinery that is capable of processing 290,000 barrels of crude oil per day to produce fuel products and chemical feedstocks that are supplied to domestic markets and overseas export markets under the brand labels of its shareholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Selected candidate will be engaged under a third-party agency payroll for the tenure of employment in SRC. (Contract basis with possible renewal)
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the supervision and coordination of Mechanical (Rotary) Engineering and Design team assigned to the project.
- Handle Mechanical (Rotary) matters by interfacing with Project Management, Refinery Electrical Department, Vendors and contractors.
- Coordinate Chevron SME for preparation of Project Standards.
- Ensure Project Requirement Specification meets local and international codes & standards as well as Project Standards.
- Coordinate work with other discipline such as process, piping, I & C, civil, etc.
- Evaluate rated capacity and efficiency of rotary equipment for cost estimate as well as equipment cost.
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 10 years experience in Project Design especially for onshore petrochemical / refining facilities for Major Capital Projects.
- In depth knowledge of design requirements for onshore petrochemical project and brownfield assessment.
- Familiarity on design requirements on modules will be an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate design activities.
- Good working knowledge of FEED and Detail Design requirements.
- Good coordination, technical writing, and communication skill.
