What you'll do:
As a Commodities Oil Reporting Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our understanding of the oil markets in Asia and the Middle East. Your daily responsibilities will encompass all aspects of market reporting, from collecting primary market information to running assessment processes. You will have the opportunity to contribute your insights through commentary and analysis, while also developing methodologies that enhance our approach to these complex markets. Your keen eye for price trends will inform your reports, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve in this fast-paced industry.
- Responsible for day-to-day reporting on Asia and Middle East oil markets
- In charge of every aspect of market reporting, including the collection and publication of primary market information
- Running an assessment process, assessing the value of a variety of markets
- Reporting market-related news, writing commentary and analysis
- Contributing to methodology development, engaging with market sources
- Following price trends and reporting on those trends at the end of day or throughout the trading day as necessary

- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in market reporting or similar analytical role in oil markets
- Strong numeric skills with knowledge of crude oil and oil product pricing methodologies
- Excellent presentation and writing skills

- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, global, multi-cultural environment
