This position is a key role within our global warehouse and logistics function, supporting the Senior Manager, Process Improvement and Analysis, in enhancing process efficiency and cost-effectiveness, as well as improving the accuracy of Supply Chain and Distribution Centre operations.
The role requires extensive experience and sound judgment to plan and improve operations. The incumbent will lead cross-functional departments, manage various stakeholders, and promote a culture of sustainable change through the creation of supportive frameworks to drive business transformation. A high degree of creativity and initiative is necessary.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Process Improvement and Innovation:Identify and implement supply chain and logistics service improvements using process improvement methodologies and innovative thinking.
Collaborate with key business stakeholders and across multiple jurisdictions to foster a continuous improvement environment supporting ongoing change programs.
Lead and facilitate process improvement initiatives to generate ideas and solutions.
- Value and Efficiency:Enhance value and efficiency by identifying and eliminating unnecessary complexities in business processes, and discovering better ways of working.
Assist in developing and implementing a ‘best-in-class’ continuous improvement strategy for supply chain, warehouse, and logistics.
- Change Management:Take ownership of change initiatives, guiding them from idea generation through to project delivery via internal governance and controls.
Conduct requirements elicitation and drive process changes through staff interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, business analysis, and workflow analysis.
- Support and Training:Collaborate with team members and business services departments to develop new support materials based on revised processes, including training, reporting, and system enhancements.
Ensure business impacts and project objectives/dependencies are identified, reported on, and managed at all times.
- Post Implementation and Analysis:Conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure successful project delivery and identify areas for improvement in future projects.
Analyze workflow data and reports to identify opportunities for continuous growth in care delivery, care coordination, patient safety, and patient satisfaction.
Present performance initiative findings and reports to department staff, upper management, and Board members as necessary.
- Feedback and KPI Monitoring:Ensure timely and appropriate response to management feedback, and follow up accordingly.
Regularly monitor Warehouse and Logistics KPIs, promptly address issues, and propose solutions for KPI performance and measurement improvement.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Skills
- Educational Background:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Administration, Logistics, Operations, or Supply Chain.
- Professional Experience: 3 years of experience in Warehouse, Logistics Management, or Supply Chain.
- Skills and Abilities:Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficient in Warehouse and Logistics Cost Management.
Commitment to continuous process improvement.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Proven capability to transform innovative ideas into execution and implementation.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders from overseas and across functional departments.
Strong project management skills.
