Job Responsibilities:
(1) Main Duties
- Outline client design objectives.
- Conceptualize and sketch design plans.
- Source materials and products included in plans.
- Create 'mood boards' to sample your design vision.
- Set a timeline for the completion of an interior design project.
- Utilize computer applications in the design process.
- Inspect design after completion to determine whether client goals have been met.
- Prepare and submit progress claims and invoice billing.
- To work overtime if required
- Assist other interior designers with site errands
(2) Project cost
- Determine the cost of completion and project requirements in the budgeting phase.
- Handle ordering of materials (Plywood, laminate, hardware, etc)
- Liaise with sub-contractors/suppliers (electrician/plumber) on quote requisition
- Assist in checking monthly invoices to Statement of Accounts
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Architecture/ Interior Design or equivalent
- Entry level candidates are welcome
- The candidate must be competent in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Photoshop or other design programs and Microsoft Office
- The candidate has to be proficient in both "English" & "Chinese" in terms of verbal and writing to handle queries and concerns from English and Chinese speaking sub-contractors/suppliers in regards with the interior design related matters.
Working Hours:
- 5 working days in a week (9 am to 6 pm on weekdays)
