OVERVIEW
The Alumni Operations Executive will track adults with Cerebral Palsy (CP) and Multiple Disabilities (MD) within the community. She/He will help identify these adults' areas of need and increase their quality of life towards independent living, gainful employment, lifelong learning, talent development therapy service, etc. This personnel will be working closely with Allied Health Professionals, Social Workers, Advocacy & Marketing Department and other external volunteer organisations so as to facilitate and provide assistance by connecting them to other related Agencies and integrating them into society. She/He will build a larger social network through CPAS-Connect.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operations of Programme
- Support and implement programmes and services of Alumni.
- Carry out the routine operational matters.
- Provide first aid, carry out emergency evacuation procedures for Alumni and caregivers, and follow through with a written report to the reporting supervisor.
- Carry out proper and regular housekeeping of work site and facilities; do regular inventory checking and recording of procedures/protocols; perform routine equipment maintenance duties and ensure cleanliness and tidiness of work and storage areas.
- Network with other agencies or other organisations to obtain resources to meet the client's needs, including connecting applications for AHP and social work services.
- Ensure Alumni safety, attendance, punctuality and welfare at the site and all other areas (such as during travel/outings at fairs).
- Supervision of Alumni during outdoor activities.
Administration of Programme
- Maintain and develop a proper administration system of Alumni programme administrative records by adhering to the latest updated services model.
- Carry out the daily routine Alumni administration matters.
- Ensure the welfare of Alumni by referring any inappropriate client behaviour, or welfare needs to the appropriate professional service for intervention.
- Support CIMS implementation
- Support implementation of Service Standards of Programme
Development of Alumni Programme
- Support all weekly Alumni activities, virtual programmes, physical outings, and events.
- Support Alumni Digital Art's internal and external sales.
- Plan recreational activities/outings for the clients, with support from donors and volunteers.
Reports
- Support submissions of reports in full compliance with the funding agencies’ requirements and deadlines.
- Report immediately to the reporting supervisor on matters about the following:
- abuse/suspicion of abuse of trainees by other staff, family, or members of the public
- Report any indecency, molestation, modesty outrage, and other sexual-related incidents.
Partnerships with External Organisations
- Maintain a positive relationship with corporate/private sector volunteers and partners from different government agencies.
- Periodically explore new volunteer and partnership opportunities for Alumni and maintain a good network with existing partners.
Volunteers
- Support good orientation programme/s for all volunteers.
- Support appropriate training and supervision to volunteers.
- Show consistent efforts in motivating and sustaining its pool of volunteers.
- Have in place a sound system of volunteer records.
Quality and Productivity
- Work as a team and participate positively and actively to ensure quality service delivery that aligns with the Association's mission, goals and objectives.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by the reporting supervisor.
- Working hours may be beyond office hours.
REQUIREMENTS
- Have ‘A’ level or Diploma graduate from relevant discipline
- Have good organizational skills.
- Have a compassionate and patient personality.
- Experience in working with persons with special needs is an added advantage.
