Job Description
- To plan, implement and monitor the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) programs and activities for Maintenance staff and Contractors.
- To plan and execute HSE activities such as HSE Committee meetings, HSE training, Dialogue sessions, HSE Site inspections, Mass Toolbox Meetings, Housekeeping initiatives, etc.
- To promote and encourage Maintenance staff and Contractors to actively participate in HSE programs such as Near‐miss reporting and other PCS programs viz. PEPS, SOS, STAR, BBSO, FINDS.
- To closely liaise and work with other PCS Functions and Contractors.
- To plan, implement and monitor the HSE programs for the Shutdown Maintenance (SDM), for Maintenance staff and Contractors.
- To prepare necessary reports on the Maintenance HSE activities.
- To maintain prompt and effective communication with Contractors in all areas of HSE, manpower data and other relevant administrative matters.
- To maintain records for the Integrated Management System Audits on Maintenance and also to conduct periodic HSE audits on the Contractors.
Requirements
- A recognised Diploma in Engineering or other relevant disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in the Energy & Chemicals industry in a similar role
- Relevant supervisory HSE qualifications in Confined Space, Work‐at‐Height and Supervise Work in Process Plants
- Good report writing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word and MS Excel
