Prior experience in building solutions for video streaming, mobile app or advertising is required. Key job responsibilities
- Actively experiment and prototype with novel technologies that improve the customer experience or solve business needs
- Work with multiple internal and external engineering teams to learn and apply best practices
- Organize and participate in collaborative Q&A sessions, workshops, presentations to share your technical know-how with the rest of the team
- Understanding of device-side software design principles for security, performance, and reliability
- Drive building customer experiences on mobile, TV (Living room devices) using cross platform UI libraries and graphics API
- Solve distributed systems and recommendation serving problems that manifest only at extremely high scale.
- Experience on Android and Player Technology selection, productization & scaling across platforms/devices
Basic qualifications
- 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
