Our Client is a leading multi-disciplinary contractor providing detailed Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Fabrication of offshore FPSO, FSO topside modules as well as onshore plans and other sub-sea products for the Oil and Gas industries.
Scope of Work
· To manage all welding activities of the company.
· To lead a team of welding supervisors to supervise all welding works.
· To provide expert advice on any welding issues and resolve them.
· To lead all PQR and WQT for the company in liaison with QA/QC Dept.
· To plan all welding works to be meet the project schedule.
· To ensure staff are adequately trained and skilled to supervise the welding works
· To feed back to Construction Manager, QA/QC Manager and Project Manager on the progress of welding work.
· To ensure all welding activities are performed in accordance to project specification sand procedure.
· To ensure all works are in accordance to company’s ISO requirements and objectives in terms of KPI.
· To recommend the type of consumables to be used per project.
· To provide an estimate of the consumable requirement and consumption per project.
· To be responsible for the recruitment of welders and welding supervisors whenever required.
· To ensure consumable stock level is always pre-ordered and maintain at an optimum level.
Requirements
· Diploma or Higher Nitec with minimum 10 year of relevant experience in Structural and pipe, fabrication welding.
· CSWIP 3.1
· Knowledge in Topside modules fabrication, oil and gas.
