Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Packer / Express Rider to join our team. This dual role involves accurately packing consumables requested by clinics and be responsible for collecting urgent blood specimens or delivery reports upon request. The successful candidate will ensure that all items are handled with care, packaged securely, and delivered efficiently to our clients, and must be able to perform simple tasks using Microsoft Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Packer:
- Accurately pick and pack consumable items based on clinic orders.
- Ensure that all items are handled carefully and packaged securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify quantities and product specifications against consumable requisition forms.
- Label packages clearly and accurately for delivery.
- Check consumables expiry date before packing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packing area.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as stock counting and shelf restocking.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding order statuses and any discrepancies.
- Follow company procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Express Rider:
- Respond to any request from HOD/ AHOD promptly.
- Be involved in service recovery.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- Handle collection and deliveries with professionalism and excellent customer service.
- Collect urgent blood specimens from clinics upon request.
- Maintain delivery logs and records accurately using Microsoft Excel.
- Ensure the vehicle used for deliveries is well-maintained and in good working condition.
- Comply with all traffic laws and company policies regarding transportation.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a packing, shipping, or inventory role is preferred.
- Experience as a delivery rider or driver is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Basic computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel.
- Need to lift/move items up to 10kg for extended periods.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- Saturday: 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM
