Responsibilites:
- Maintain accurate and transparent records using a Computerised Stock Control System
- Receive stock and check off accurately against manifests and Purchase Orders/Requisitions
- Carry out accurate and regular stock audits
- Maintain stock minimum/maximum levels and keep equipment and materials in stock ready for immediate issue.
- Liaise with all departments to ensure effective and efficient provision of equipment and materials.
- Ensure equipment and materials are clearly and correctly identified and stored incorrect locations.
- Ensure correct certification of equipment and materials e.g. PSVs
- Perform continuous appraisal of equipment and materials requirements through liaison with Heads of Departments and Operations Office
- Maintain security of equipment storage areas and control access to storage areas and stock
- Control access to computer systems and records financial information manifests bills offloading etc
- Maintain all equipment and stock storage areas in clean and tidy condition preventing the accumulation of debris.
- Control issue of equipment from equipment storage areas.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3 yrs of experience in the Marine or Petroleum Industry with FPSO experience preferred.
- Thorough understanding of materials, purchasing, and stock management procedures
- Qualified to trade or technician level in a technical discipline
- Good familiarity with standard ‘Office’ software package. Operation and use of Internet and electronic mail system. Experienced operator of Computerised Stock Control software.
